Hey man, nice shot.
Are you perhaps referring to the old classic, A New Sith, or Revenge of the Hope? Found reposted on Livejournal of all places, but apparently the original has fallen off the internet.
I salute you, brave gamer.

happens in the same universe
Somehow, amazingly, I feel like this needs to be clarified. The creator decided to put in a secret ending to his previous series where the protagonist, who rides a dragon, somehow slips into an alternate reality where you inexplicably suddenly play a rhythm game against an eldritch monstrosity and then get shot out of the sky by a literal fighter jet. And that universe is where Nier takes place.
Yoko Taro is an insane man and I love it. I still won’t play Drakengard, but that’s just because it’s not a great game.

The “forbidden black magic” part.:::
It ends up being kind of integral to the plot.
I’ve been told I give good hugs. If I ever see you offline, I’ve got one for you. (Admittedly unlikely - I rarely leave the house except to work)
In the meantime, internet hugs. I hope you get a real one soon.

4·6 months agoI was a Siren main in Borderlands.
Every new game in the franchise made me hate Lilith more. I think I may have cheered at the end of BL3.
Honestly, some days I’m okay with just being able to keep standing on the hill.
…Most days.
I’m tired, boss.
“You overestimate my power!”

Huh. I thought that was me. Do… do we have to fight now? Like Highlander? CAN THERE BE ONLY ONE?

News@lemmy.world•Governor Mike DeWine signs measure allowing Ohio lawmakers to shield texts, emails from public view
5·7 months agoI’ve mentioned this before, but I was working for Franklin County when Covid first happened and we went into lockdown. I processed a complaint filed by a group of restaurants downtown against DeWine personally for “impacting their business”. I had a hunch, then, that he wasn’t going to be on the right side of this ever again. I hate that I was right, but I’m not surprised.
Of course I do. It’s only the impulse to ask out loud that was trained out of me.

Ugh, don’t remind me. Zachary Levi broke my heart. Arcade Gannon was one of my favorite F:NV companions, too. At least there’s still Felicia Day and Danny Trejo.
Another disappointment to hear about was Michael Peña (Luis from Ant Man).
I might, if that’s what I felt like doing that day. The first thing I’d do would be to sleep for a year.

Appears to be a formatting thing. The comic itself has the appropriate format of /Dave/tim-actually-said-this, properly denoting that they are two different people
