No.

He’s already practically said so. I’d love to be optimistic, though.

Is it the pants pissers who don’t want anyone to know who they are?
That’s the idea, though.

I was expecting some frawshty tchawklit milkshaeksh.

It’s twitter. It’s based on fraud these days.

Nah, it was already a bust when Unreal Engine was on the table.
I’m not gonna argue with the man. A guy who looks like a year-old orange slice that fell behind the radiator says he had his brain eaten by a worm… I’ll believe him.

“So just… say anything?”

The only prereq for SS now is that you can stand to be locked in an airtight vehicle for extended periods with the human rotbag. Even his “wife” can’t stand to be in the same car as him.

Honestly, it would solve a lot of problems.

A former buddy of mine joined local LE some years back. They tormented and hazed the hell outta him until he was forced to move to another precinct.

Nowadays, he toes the line and has a LOT of really worrying opinions on a lot of things, but he has the respect of his coworkers now.

I just discovered Fabric.com is no more… and it’s been dead for 3 years. I’m super out of the loop.

Addressing the presenting problem?
Pshaw

I need to learn to sew…

No one’s going to make them. The entire regime is shit from top to bottom.
Mine fucking resets every few months… it just decides I need to re-up the “I understand I’ll go deaf” notification while I’m in the middle of a drive.

This really is an east coast / west coast thing though.
West coasters are more insular and stereotypically suburbanite.
Nice but not kind.
Not outwardly hostile but won’t break their own protected little bubble to help a stranger, usually.
East coast, we’ll tell you you’re an idiot for hitting that piece of slag in the road while helping you change a tire.
Kind, but not nice.
We go out of our way sometimes to help, but you’re gonna get an earful or no conversation at all (as in OP’s story).
