Nah, those two cannot be used synonymously. They mean different things, and one is predatory and problematic, the other is not.

I spent the majority of my childhood using cursive in school, and I hate the way it looks personally. So much so my signature is a stylized printing. Cursive is muddy and if the writer doesn’t have great fine motor skills, it looks worse than poorly scrawled printing. I think that the point of text should be legibility, and cursive seems to be against that entirely. Even in neatly written cursive letters tend to blend together.
To each their own though, I can read it and write it so at the end of the day, I’m just an old man yelling at clouds
Jabba, Pizza, Sunglass. Easy peasy
Was gonna say, I’ve definitely seen his channel before

Yup. All my IoT devices are on a network that doesn’t have access to the internet. To control remotely, I use a VPN. Even though I don’t think it’s technically necessary, I take the precaution of blocking connections to the big company’s APIs/websites for all my IoT devices, just in case.
I wish this were easier for the layman to do. Some companies like Unifi make it pretty painless, but they are expensive and it’s really hard for the non-networking-savvy folks to know exactly which devices you need from them to have a working setup.

I agree with the fact that they aren’t a great company, but anyone who’s shopped around for skins/decals knows that dbrand is a cut above the rest in terms of quality. I’ve stopped buying from them due to how they run things, though.

The old canned chat Club Penguin was a safe space for kids on the internet in my youth. Sure, you could have snowballs thrown at you, but since there were canned-chat-only servers, it was a safe space to hang out and make friends, despite not getting to know them very deeply.
I think it was a pretty solid approach to teaching children how to interact with the internet
Unfortunately yes. I never watched it, but I read the synopsis and it introduces the mineshaft and the guy with the briefcase. Pretty stupid move on their part, because I don’t actually know many people who even knew the stage play existed, even among pretty big fans of the show
Buddy I think you missed a large portion of the plot if you think the Abyss is “in” the Upside Down.
Yes the Upside Down was created by scientists, but as a wormhole connecting two separate locations: a planet called the Abyss, and Hawkins. Abyss is no more “in” the Upside Down than Hawkins is. Also, they don’t insinuate many times that El or her sister’s power comes from tapping into the hivemind, only Will’s. El’s comes from having Henry’s blood in her, and now we know that that blood comes with a portion of the mutation that Henry recieved after touching the stone in the briefcase. After the mindflayer dies, Will never uses his power again.
The guy with the briefcase and the mineshaft is surprisingly from a canon stage play called The First Shadow that covers Henry’s childhood, but considering this is the first time he’s shown in the TV show, it does feel like a random convenient plot device. I think they should have had the stage play become an episode in season 5 so we knew Henry’s backstory a bit better.
This. Also, I’ve trained my dog to think that begging for food is done by laying down across the room, so when she is begging, it’s not annoying.
Are you kitten me right meow??

While I agree, it’s a pretty lame thing to say “This doesn’t work for your use case? That’s because your use case is wrong” If the distro doesn’t support PIA, then that is an issue with the distro, not the user.
Not just older, but almost 4 times older. The US is only 249 years old
I agree, simply because that’s around when I realized he was a piece of shit. But to give the benefit of the doubt, if I wasn’t actively trying to form an opinion about the guy, I think he would have flown under the radar until his being openly racist/sexist/homophobic/transphobic (God he’s really gone and collected them all) became front and center of the mainstream media. Like, not everyone was paying attention to Elon Musk, and before the Thai Football team debacle he had a pretty favorable public opinion.
Is there a list of shows that have LGBT+ representation that don’t end in tragedy?
Only private tracker I use is MyAnonymouse, they’ve got all the books/audiobooks anyone could ever need, which I have had a really hard time finding on public trackers. Their rules are super lenient as well.
I just want to point out that there is a self-hosted version of bitwarden called vaultwarden! All your passwords are kept local, and they have a system that manages synchronization without connecting to bitwarden servers.
This. I genuinely think all they had to do was make the Metaverse FOSS and it would have had a chance.
