Man on Fire is one of my favourites and it gets me every time.

Anything like this with kids/families gets me pretty good nowadays :(

To this day I’ve watched it once and I’ll never forget.

I don’t collect anything specific but blurays are dirt cheap so why not buy them :)

The start of DS is a little rough and it’s probably a solid 4 hours to get going. One you do though its top tier walking sim. I’d recommend actually walking and avoiding vehicles as much as possible to.

Death Stranding 2
It’s more of the same which is great. The game is gorgeous and so far after about 10 hours I’m really enjoying it. I can get lost for hours on a single delivery just walking and exploring everywhere :)

I know exactly the trailer you’re talking about. Obviously the game didn’t turn out that way but in my opinion The Division is an under-appreciated gem. It was absolutely awful at launch though and I think it took over a year to fix and adjust the gameplay.
Chance are they will go up in value but it also means holding on to them another 5 years or whatever. Maybe sell them and specifically put the money towards something cool you do want.
Lemmy doesn’t have the niche communities and people don’t want to take the time to customise what it can do for them so get stuck in the same shit as reddit, so then they leave.

TLOTR trilogy. I could watch those til the end of time.
I thought it was good enough but calling it “messy” is a good description. Visuals were great, music was ok but with a couple of really good tracks, characters were all kinda meh but the overall story was pretty good. I’d give it 3 out of 5, maybe 3.5 if it in 4k with a quality setup.
Games that jump straight into things without letting me see the options menu first.
Not having the Playstation icons as a preset when I want to use my PS4 controller on PC.

Amazing. I must have missed the announcement and had no idea they were making a new movie!

The 360 does still download game updates.

Halo: Reach
So I finished up the campaign on Monday and it’s still as great as I remember. Noble Team :(
Satisfactory
Not normally my kind of game but my wife wanted to play together and it’s been fun. Our base is a mix of tidyness (her) and absolute mess (me)… So the perfect match.

Catalyst is pretty good but I think making it more open takes away the urgency of free running, and that’s the most important part.

Nomadland comes to mind. Something about the whole movie makes it so facinating.
Calling it a horrible game is a bit much.
I don’t think it’s as amazing as people make it out to be but, like you mention, turning off crossplay significantly improves matchmaking and supposedly giving feedback helps balance it even more. Its also a lot more fun with friends but the amount of PVP increases with groups and especially much more with 3 man.
They are definitely on the easy side but that meant as a kid I could finish it and is one of favourite Game Boy games.
Kirby’s Dream Land has one of the best soundtracks too. Especially “green greens” which I love.
