Having three full incomes or two and a homemaker sounds great. Even just another adult around would be great but yeah, its hard enough to have enough time for each other as it is.

All generations before us believed their times to be particularly perilous and the generations after them to be particularly stupid/soft/insolent. I believe somewhere in the previous century it was fashionable to be “depressed”, believed to be the affliction of the learned man.

I’m starting to think this is what’s happening to the local stores in my neighborhood that are only small but still part of a bigger franchise. They are always understaffed and looking for new staff.

In mine, any fluids added before starting just sit in the tub at the bottom. The first thing it does after starting is run the pump though, so piss away I guess…

On a side note: I read that the isolation of gas-filled double glass actually degenerates over time. The vacuum does not.

It is as you suspected. The vacuum has very low conduction of heat and sound and is preserved by the small ‘beads’, if not, the two panes would simply be sucked onto each other. What do you mean by emissitvity?
