That’s what alt accounts are for right…right?

The one thing I REALLY enjoy about the start menu kind of doubling as a Bing search is I can type in unit conversions and it’ll do them then and there without busting out a calc or opening a web browser. All other cases are like this where it’s annoying nonsense.

There now, wishing I wasn’t.

I use Librewolf on my work and personal desktops, then Waterfox on my Android. I prefer Waterfox, but I find the logo so lame looking I settle for Librewolf. The OOTB settings for LW are super strict and a slog to deal with unless disabled. WF feels like using FF in just about every way.

One possible pro of working a labor job that I found is that you can pretty easily zone out for long stretches of time and think through complex things you’re doing outside of work. Depends on your interests and hobbies at home if you’re able to take advantage of it. Worked a boring factory job for a few years and would spend entire days daydreaming about whatever piece of media I was consuming at the time or prepping DnD in my head.

Seems like this might help with library management / metadata handling. Can anyone here vouch for it? Using jellyfin for my music library at the moment and I have found it’s music management to be lackluster. Tracks with features showing up as distinct artists seems to be it’s latest hurdle.

started switching and testing options last week. Librewolf’s default are awful, but undoing that has been better than having to look at the ugly Waterfox logo, in my opinion. If the logo is a non issue for you, WF had better default settings. I’m overly particular
Don’t worry he will do the whole thing sitting down

Palm Pre was goated. It had a little paratroopers game that I think about far too often. Nice and small, physical keyboard. Damn.
Oh nooooo:
I’m sorry for being a good person and I love you too baby girl.
Interestingly, I don’t call my partner ‘baby girl’ lmao

Haha that trilogy might be my favorite of all time but I also TOTALLY get that take. I’m just a big fucking sucker for the second and third books as they get increasingly ridiculous.

Architect here. Many of us are cooked. Asking a generalized model to spit out something legible will certainly yield these kinds of results. However, much of architecture, like many other fields, is based on facts driven by codes and prescriptive values. Those can be learned and easily maintained over time. Tools like Finch, Hypar, TestFit, and many others are attempting to streamline so so much of the design process. They’re also removing a tremendous amount of tedium, sure, but in doing so they are preventing the next generation of designers from becoming masters of the craft. It’s pretty discouraging, because you either keep up with the times by using these tools aimed at eliminating your entire career field, or you can boycott them and lose out on work.
The closest I came to cracking this was buying a used treadmill, a steam deck, and some third party joycons that were a little more ergonomic. Play games while walking. Lost 20lbs playing BG3 and another 10 beating Hades. Then life happened and that routine fell apart. But it worked pretty well. Just need to get back into it. Obviously not feasible for many due to the initial expensive or space requirements.

Drew a comic that made the front page of reddit over a decade ago. Family and friends noticed it and identified me because the username wasn’t subtle if you knew me, personally. Ditched the account immediately and used a generator, which came up with this. Decided to re-use it for shits and gigs. For those wondering: no, neither the comic nor the account of mine had anything weird or inappropriate, I just appreciate a certain level of privacy in most online communities.
Big Scavengers Reign energy and I’m here for it. Well done!
Bunch of lumber and stuff I was already planning on buying as I finish my basement, like a laser level.
Just had a baby. Had the privilege of using 5 days of PTO for my parental leave. Partner gets like 4 months, thankfully.
