“I can tell them, as someone who is trans and who every single day spends my day talking with people across the political and ideological divide, I can tell you that most people are good and decent and kind, and we are not as divided as the algorithms make it seem,” she said.

Data released by the Human Rights Campaign corroborates that statement. It found 85% of Americans think trans people deserve the same rights and protections as everyone else.

    Does she not see she’s in a position of massive privilege? Does she not know that the oligarchs don’t give a fuck beyond their own optics? That the majority of them don’t believe the shit they’re peddling, but the rest of us have to deal with their fucking propagandized base.

      I think it is true, I saw a statistic recently that did show the majority of people are supportive or at least neutral. It’s just that the most awful people are also often the loud ones with lots of money to spend on propaganda against us, so it feels like there’s more of them in comparison to the quiet majority.

    Yeah if only some of those supportive folks were actual lawmakers that could make trans folks lives better, wouldn’t that be fucking crazy
