There was a case a few weeks ago, where an illegal farm worker was critically injured in an accident on the farm and, rather than taking the man to the hospital or calling for help, the farmer bundled him into his car and dropped the worker off at the worker’s place, in front of his wife. The worker died, and the farmer is being charged with (what I think is Italy’s equivalent) of depraved murder.

there are a bunch of africans inofficially entereng the EU over the sea but some see them as illegal and there are no structures to help them. Even worse: there are structures to either send them back or in the case of a lot of farmers: exploit them.
Because they have basically no legal in some areas “employers” treat them like slaves

Now DW, link it up with Germany offering the structures to launder the money and make it difficult for the Italian police to arrest the mafia.

In reality, Europeans cannot afford those fruits because they would be more expensive with regularly paid workers.

We accept slavery for food, clothes, electronics to be able to ignore that our own incomes aren’t worth much.
