Iran has accused the United States of committing a “cowardly war crime” by striking near a children’s cancer hospital and compared its actions to Israel’s targeting of healthcare facilities in Gaza.
A doctor at the treatment centre told reporters the blast was “intense” and “so close” that they thought the hospital had been hit.
“This constitutes a cowardly war crime against the most innocent of human beings – children who are bravely fighting for their lives.”
Dr Majid Bou’azar, manager of the hospital, told Al Jazeera the 211 patients “were forced to relocate” because of the strikes.
“These are special patients, including cancer patients, who are hospitalised here … Some of the patients [were] on oxygen and ventilators,” another staff member told Al Jazeera. “Some people had children in their arms, some had IVs in their hands, and some were in wheelchairs.”
Its hard to believe America the beautiful, land of the free and brave and so on and so forth is blowing up school and hospitals, and is under the leadership of openly pedophile rapists while also being openly bribed by filthy genociders to support massive war crimes.
A decade ago this would have been beyond anyones wildest imagination.
Not sure if you followed the Iraq invasion but the first thing the US did was bomb all infrastructure like power plants, telecommunications, hopsitals and water.
Mass terrorism and full scale destruction of countries is standard Big Satan procedure.
So…they missed their intended target then?
You’re thinking of Israel.
Also the US who do you think taught them.
Generally I shy away from people posting Bible verses, but I’m this case it’s relevant.
1 Samuel 15:3 New International Version
3 Now go, attack the Amalekites and totally destroy[a] all that belongs to them. Do not spare them; put to death men and women, children and infants, cattle and sheep, camels and donkeys.’” Read full chapter Footnotes
1 Samuel 15:3 The Hebrew term refers to the irrevocable giving over of things or persons to the Lord, often by totally destroying them; also in verses 8, 9, 15, 18, 20 and 21.
Now, a lot of people get upset when your take things in the Bible out of context, so to be clear this story is about how God rejects Saul because Saul didn’t kill the livestock too. Given the economics of the time, this was the treasure of their people.
This theme is repeated several times throughout the old testament. A neighboring people is threatening Israel, so they wipe them out and destroy everything they own. Outside of Israel, is not an unknown tactic, but this goes further and kings are scolded or punished for keeping something back.
This doesn’t mean Jewish and Christian are bad. Modem Christianity and most other people with reason don’t see these as things we should repeat. I personally feel that this falls under the whole live by the sword/die by the sword statement.
Sorry if invoking the Bible pisses some people off. I have been chewing this for a while and kind of needed to write it out to define my own position.
Netanyahu quoted this at the start of the genocide to justify it. Its been quoted, along with many other examples of genocidal intent, at the South Africa case at the International Court of Justice.
It’s madness IMO to use these passages as justification.
Have you seen how poor americans with cancer are treated?
Can’t wait for Nuremberg 2
The American regime will bomb the court and sanction the judges
You say it like a joke but it’s true.
The American Service Members Protection Act was specifically drawn up to give the US military authorisation to use its full military force to prevent Americans from being tried in international criminal courts like The Hague.
The act also protects Israeli’s.
What was the actual target? And how far away was it? This article is very vague on a number of details.
The Hamas tunnel obviously. It’s all the way in Iran now.
