Dude, every time. I remember back to elementary school when we apparently had a day off, and I hadn’t noticed prior. I was sitting at our playground waiting for school to start, wondering everyone is. Luckily, the father of a classmate of mine walked by with his dog and told me that school was off that day and asked me if I’d like to come over and play with my classmate. I agreed and played some PS2 with my classmate instead of having school that day. When his father asked if I’d like to call my mother to tell her where I am and stuff, I declined and said “she’s probably asleep”, not thinking about it too much longer other than “I don’t want to wake her up and upset her”. FF a couple hours later, she texts me on my phone, furious I haven’t come back home yet. Turns out I should have just told her. :]
