regarding the first birthday technically being your second: I think the Korean calendar actually considers that to be the case? iirc you would be a year old when you’re born.
also, turtles grow the shell right? like, without the shell, you get into its organs.
Yep. Not sure about the organs part specifically, but the shell is basically part of their skeleton. It even has nerve endings so they can feel through it.
