What’s the consensus on petg cf for accessories like pistol grips and v/afgs? I’ve gotten through a few rifle builds with petg cf pistol grips, and I’m pleasantly surprised how they’re holding up. (DB tail gunner grip, ciwielab m7 DeAR lower, eryone petgcf)
I like it. If you wanna save a few bucks on a Nylon build, it’s perfectly adequate for things like furniture. PETG in general is also a good candidate for, say, bright orange followers for your magazines.
I tend to pick up PET-CF more often than PETG-CF, just because the former has actual load-bearing usefulness in magazines.
I’ve got a roll of 3D Fuel’s PCTG Pro I’m trying out on some NylAUG mags. Next contender will definitely be PET-CF.

“v/afgs” means “vertical or angled foregrips”. Things you put on the forend of the gun and grab onto or rest your hand against. See also “handstop”.
DB’s Tailgunner and ciwielab’s DeAR-22 M7 are designs. DB is an abbreviation of someone’s name, “DeAR-22” is “dedicated AR-22”, “M7” is the M7 Rifle, of which ciwielab’s remix of the original DeAR-22 is modeled after.

We use CF/GF filaments a lot, typically Nylons and PET. They don’t tend to shed, but we often recommend people wear PPE when post-processing.
TheShittinator explained it perfectly. I should have been a little clearer, my brain is an alphabet soup of abbreviations at this point.
I’ve had a printed ADAR stock (think a California compliant thumb hole stock that connects to the pistol grip, but made in Russia) on an ar15 lower I’ve been beating the piss out of. Mortaring, throwing it about, and just out right abusing the gun and it hasn’t shown any signs of breaking down or shedding material.
The only failures I’ve had so far are with magazines - either mag bases blowing out or feed lips shearing off if they get dropped, loaded or unloaded.
