    Pro tip:

    Put the thing in your cart, enter your info, then don’t check out. Check your email the next day. Many companies will email you a promo code to make the sale. Successfully did this just last week.

      I remember hearing about this about a decade ago, hasn’t worked on any site I’ve used. They just send me a “you left items in your cart” email and that’s it.
