Is Discord as bad as Reddit? I don’t know much about it.
I use it daily as that’s where my friend group is but we’ve been looking for an alternative since it is definitely getting bad. It’s at the VC funding stage where they now need to actually make money so enshittification is happening quickly.
There was also the whole Palantir-linked age verification thing they briefly announced and then partially rolled back. A TL;DR would be that it’s the same old thing that happens to every closed source VC funded service
