I figured the premise is kind of difficult to understand, since people were asking about how to “join”, so I wrote a basic summary and getting started instructions.

I was thinking that we could probably have a page with a map on it that will have all known Habitat instances that anyone could submit a pull request to to add their instance.

Any ideas?

    Yes!

    I’m about to start my own instance. I got habitat running, bought a proper domain for my local community and am currently setting up the mail for sign up.

    I was thinking that we could probably have a page with a map on it that will have all known Habitat instances that anyone could submit a pull request to to add their instance.

    We need something like this before the full implementation of phase 2.

      Amazing! Let me know if you have any questions. I’ll definitely build an instance map if and when I see evidence of many instances existing, but at the moment I think it’s still early days.
