I loved Godzilla the series as a kid. I’ve been meaning to give it a rewatch. Don’t know if it will hold up, hopefully so.

Godzilla: The Series was an animated US follow up to the rather universally loathed Godzilla 1998.
However, there was also an anime Godzilla Monster Planet Trilogy made in Japan.

If the animated classics — film or series— don’t grab you the way they once did Godzilla Minus One (2023) and the B&W version G-1./c are great cinematic live action features that take us back that recapture the magic from the beginning. Netflix has these films and several animated series.
Also, the AppleTV series Monarch: Legacy of Monsters is an astonishingly successful transition to the live action streaming television medium and a solid entry point into the franchise.
