From what I understand, it’s pretty difficult to get such clear sound from bass tapping, especially at speed. Bass strings are thick and pretty high from the fretboard — first time I’ve tried strumming a bass, I realized I don’t have the muscles for it, and got myself one of these exercise devices (which should actually be pinched with the thumb and the fingers, not the base of the thumb).
So many better instruments for this piece but the fact it was done on bass is fucking cool.
