Brian Graden was a Fox executive in the mid-1990s when he met Trey Parker and Matt Stone. He distributed their short “The Spirit of Christmas” to friends in Hollywood via VHS tapes that quickly became re-copied and distributed to many others. He also brought the series to Comedy Central after Fox passed and saw it through its first season.
In an interview with Polygon, Graden talks about his early days with Parker and Stone, as well as his thoughts about South Park’s most recent run.
