Wow, I’m sure this comes from the mayor. While it may be tough to sue the police for this due to qualified immunity, the same doesn’t apply to the mayor. She should sue. This is blatantly illegal intimidation.

…but…isnt it provable that the mayor calls for the murder of those individuals? If it is, I would ask the cop to go back to that source, as that is where the inflammatory and dangerous speech originates.
The mayor is a public figure and any speech about him should be legal and not be retaliated against with the local police, unless it’s a direct threat of violence.
