I think Bezos, Theil, Murdoch, Ellison, and the Walton’s deserves a spot in that pic much more than Obama and HRC (and hell even Gates for that matter. I wouldn’t even say Jobs is that bad by modern standards), but that wouldn’t fit your both sides narrative, would it?

Imma be frank with you: I don’t see “both sides”. I see nothing but one side: The capitalist one.

I did notice Steve Jobs. The Walton’s, the Murdoch’s, Theil, and Bezos were all billionaires the same time as Jobs, and I’d eagerly bet they’re significantly more evil than him or HRC or Obama, by any objective measure (i.e. not just muh feels)

Not saying any of them are without flaws but…well, there are several (and more evil ones) that are notably missing.

No one was seriously talking about Thiel back than, no one really mentions the Waltons even today.

That leaves Murdoch, who should’ve been there but Obama literally droned kids so to say he is less deserving of the spot is pretty fucked up. American politicians have objectively caused far, far more harm to the world.

It’s not a both sides narrative. It’s the rich vs the rest of us, and within that, left and right are irrelevant.

Probably the real reason (aside from the both-sides narrative) is that HRC is along the few rich (and, importantly) powerful white women most Americans would recognize.

You could show me a picture of Alice Walton and I wouldn’t recognize them. Hell I may have a bit of prosopagnosia, because you could put Noem up there as a surrogate for nearly every woman to work for the Trump administration and I wouldn’t be able to tell the difference.

Melinda Gates I may recognize…but she (was) the “heart” in B&MGF…the more humanitarian of the two… that wouldn’t be fair at all.
