“The Secret Service came to my door today because of a tweet. No threats. No violence. Just words. That’s where we are now,” she wrote on X in a thread about the ordeal.

She was asked about the comments she made online, and she made it clear, “I want to see their trials.”

I know there’s a ton of hate for everything government at this time, but I worked with them decades ago when I did union stagehand work setting up for Presidential debates.

The Secret Service of today is not the one you worked with decades ago. Trump corrupts everything he touches.

This is what I was going to say. It’s one thing to hold your nose and do your job to protect prominent politicians, but Trump would never be satisfied with just professionalism. He demanded absolute loyalty over all else, which is why in my opinion the attempt in Butler was as close as it was - he clearly surrounded himself with people who were pro-Trump first and USSS agents second. Incompetent fools who didn’t even bother to set up a perimeter or secure the site where he was speaking. Their only qualities are their willingness to swear fealty to Trump and nothing else.

I don’t know if that is true.

The guy who is the director now is a longtime agent that was on Presidential duty for Obama - he joined when Bush was President. Long term knowledge and skill is an actual asset for this agency that any politican who wants to stay safe understands…

      It’s different than other agencies.

That would have been under the direction of James Murray, who left under the cloud of suspicion regarding those deletions, and yet the Biden Administration found nothing actionable to prosecute for, after their investigation concluded. (in point of fact, apparently Murray stayed on at his job until the investigations were concluded, so he did NOT cut and run…)

It’s not like there isn’t a level of independence tied to the professionalism that - again - is something that the politicans and diplomats don’t want to fuck with.

This gets back to the agents being willing to put down their lives for people they may loathe.

I’ve talked at length to Secret Service agents in my time working with them. The whole service is a different level of dedication.

And let’s just leave it at that, as you’re gonna want to act as if the quid pro quos they give - and get - are indicative of something that only one party that requires their protections, deals with.

I can guarantee you that even if we got the most socially progressive, honest, leftist government in the world, the basic policy of the Secret Service would remain unchanged.

They’re really not interested in bloviating hens that rant on social media. My bet is that some Trump staffer saw the post and cried like a bitch to a Secret Service liason and they were ordered to go out and check for “terrorists”…

Manbaby Don-don and his peevishly thin skin wants everyone to love and kiss him and offer him hugs and praise after all…

Secret Service really don’t give a shit because the threats they look out for today aren’t the ones that are advertised.

Fact: The SS deleted all text messages related to January 6th. They would have no reason to do so unless they had something huge to hide, like knowingly supporting an insurrection.

Fiction: Your fabulist claims that you’re knowledgeable about what the organization is today despite the fact your experience with them is decades old. Your experience is so far out of date that your claims are laughable.

BTW - “bloviating hens” is cute, but you should really look up the word “bloviating” before using it in your name-calling routine.

So to recap - according to you the SS agents actually involved in the insurrection are blameless and get a pass simply because someone else helped covered it up. Got it.

Do you have proof they actually were involved in anything suspect, other than your assumptions because you want it to be so?

Any photos in the 10’s of thousands taken that day that showed them inciting riots?

They didn’t need to “assist” in anything.

The fucktard Trumpists brought this one home that day all by themselves, and is that what is pissing you off so much… that a bunch of country bumfuck yahoos and white trash religious bigots did what no one on the left has had the balls to do?

Either way, Secret Service gets to watch over whatever asshat politicians take power.

Unfucking believable. The entire point is that the SS made damn sure all evidence was deleted and you’re asking me if I have any evidence? What is wrong with you?

This is obviously a hill you will die on. You’re welcome to do so without any help from me.

Now, now… let’s not be a male chauvinist pig and think everyone on the internet’s got a big swinging cod between their legs… in my case, you should have written

              …sure thing, “nattering hen”.

(FYI you can even call me a cunt if it makes you feel better… I’m old enough to honestly not give a shit. Knock yourself out.)

              LOL!

do you REALLY think all the ‘bloviating hens’ as YOU put it were all female?

that’s an assumption on your part.

I stick with my thesis, jibbering cock.
