Court clarifies: Drinking coffee during working hours is grounds for dismissal
Is it really clickbait if the title and small snippet of text in the preview already answer all the questions? I don’t feel like I need to look it up to see what’s actually going on.
The text is intended to provoke outrage. So it is Clickbait.
“I just left the office building and went to a coffee shop during work time.”
Yeah, that’s reason for firing.I downvoted this comment because all I see is an image of a German headline I can’t read, and some English text which I’m assuming is a direct translation. So, there’s nothing in this post that gives the details of what happened in the case. Do you know that this case is about someone leaving the office, and I assume continuing to draw a salary, while hanging out at a coffee shop? Or, are you just speculating for humorous effect? (Which is fine, but I can’t tell which it is.)
It very much says what happens. This com is called click baits. The joke is them going to a cafe for their coffee which means it isn’t a regular paid break.
The direct translation of the German text:
Court clarifies:
Drinking coffee
during
working hours is
grounds for dismissal2 days ago - A short break, grabbing coffee in a café
and then continuing to work? That can
have consequences and even justify an immediate
termination…(I disabled seeing votes by the way)
