From JL: Our favorite way of making albums is to write and record too many songs and then arrange the ones that work together as an album. We always have a bunch of good tracks left over to make an EP. I’m sure there’s some exact equivalent process that goes on in the kitchen of a fancy restaurant but I’m just guessing

Personally, I dig the Elegant Too remix more than I thought; TMBW Discord folk are split, but I think it’s a bit more unique sounding in TMBG discography than regular, which could be another Join Us song, which is great and all, but the remix just gives subtly different vibes that I enjoy.

“Peggy Guggenheim” is peak, giving late 90s/early 2000s TMBG instrumental vibes a la “Drinkin’”.

Overall, this EP gives me high hopes for A24 this spring.
