It’s even better with the bicycle. The streets feel huge and liberating when there are no cars around to run you over.

Or going by public transit, there’s few people and those that are there are either just too tired to be a bother, or are asleep, and just relaxing.

I don’t get transit in the middle of the night :(

(And when I do it’s filled with drunk people)

idk, I wouldn’t ride a bicycle in a fog this thick, too easy to get killed if there happens to be a car. and at this hour the drivers that are on the road are probably like half-awake

see the great thing about a bike is that you can see and hear everything going on around you

I’ve biked in these conditions. you can tell the car is coming from far away.

COB LED strips are an absolute godsend, grab two 5v usb powered strips and weave them around your bike frame / your backpack/a high vis jacket, power it off a phone charger block, you can ride for hours without worrying about being seen because you and your bike have neons

Recently I fucked up my sleep schedule and was awake at 5am, went for a walk. Enjoyed it so much that I’ve decided to start waking up at 5am intentionally from now on

    (so far results are mixed)

But if you do have to go to the airport, pre-dawn is the best time to do it. Try to find a flight that leaves early because the whole experience will be less insane
