That could be a pretty good poem if I knew WTF a pikmin was.
Little plant slaves.
There are people in the world who don’t know what a Pikmin is???
There are a lot of people in the world.
There are? I mean how many can there be really? A hundred? Two hundred tops?
Oh buddy, there’s over a thousand.
Wow. That’s a lot of people.
There’s gary, there’s sue, and there’s gay gary. There’s three people bongles
Now I want to watch The Velocity of Gary
that’s so like you sue
The game is not Nintendo’s biggest title, but it’s my favorite. It’s a micro managing adventure, like an RTS, but fun for normal people. Each game is short, but extremely replayable. My hours in Pikmin 4 add up to more time than I spent playing games like Smash Bros or Zelda BOTW. I think the only games that rival this amount of playtime is minecraft or stardew valley.
I’ll treat my kid like a Pikmin only for as long as I am physically able to throw them like one
I do it when I can stack them up and make them into a ladder to climb up to places I can’t reach.
Or when I need to cross wide gaps.
I haven’t played pikmin but this sounds a lot like tinykin (which is a super cute exploration game that I highly recommend)
My little dog has associated the start up sounds for Dark Souls 1-3 and Elden Ring with me yelling and will immediately go hide somewhere when I fire up one of these games.
But he loves the sound of quitting because it generally means he’s going for a walk after.
