True story: yeeeears and years ago, I woke up one morning to find my bank account showed a mysterious $35k in funds from a “small business loan”… Instead of cashing it out and leggin’ it to a non-extraditing tropical nation, I called the bank and explained to them that it is not, in fact, acceptable to “go by full name w/ middle initial” when verifying accuracy of transactions. 😶
