Happy New Year! I hope yours was quieter than mine. We rang in the year with our cats. Unfortunately our neighbors have fireworks and firearms. “Celebrations” went until 1:00AM.

    I enjoyed some nice time spent doing activities in silence next to my partner. It included working on this prototype dishware

    I probably won’t fire this because I think the bowl has a crack and the plate doesn’t have a great foot but the idea is that the saucer is also a lid for the bowl so that when I can’t finish my meal or snack I can just throw the lid on and forget about it for a while. I intend to make a set that stacks for easy storage.

    Who keeps posting on these photos of cats oh my God, kind of miss my cat. He was elderly, but I helped him. My dog never met him, but the cats in the neighborhood all met him. They would visit him when I was at work. I’m glad they will visit him. He was in a black cat. He had brown fur and I did everything for him. I hope he’s OK. You know you’re the next life when we’re all cats.
