I will give it to the first person who answers my question here. What was your first computer/console game ever and on what platform?

        Thanks! Happy holidays!!

That’s awesome! Also it wasn’t an emulator. It was a knock off.

My first computer was a Commodore C64. Cheetah analog joysticks and Slapfight, that’s how a lifelong obsession with IT began.

My first console was the game of Pong. Two rotating analog controllers. Great fun.

I’m here for the nostalgia, not the giveaway. Please skip me and select the next commenter.

Spyro the Dragon on Playstation 2 (it was a PSOne game but the PS2 could play those). I do still love the game and the remakes. Spyro still has a special place in my blackened, shriveled heart.

It was either Atari 2600 or comodor 64/vic20

I want to say pole position or pressure cooker for the Atari, or robotron on the comodor. My dad gave both to me when I was young, and I can’t recall which was first.

I remember the comodor had a tape drive, that used audio cassets to load programs, took a good 2-3 minutes to load a game. What an odd thing in retrospect.

    Just commenting not entering.

I’m pretty sure that my first game was Defender for the Atari 2600, but it is hard to say as I was really young. Could have been Yar’s Revenge or Combat.
