I can’t bloody shift it! I had the worst of it a couple of weekends ago and every time I feel better, the next day I feel terrible again. A blocked nose is meaning I get fuck all sleep and I keep feeling extremely exhausted.
Next year I’m definitely getting the jab!

Suffocation in medical terminology applies to circumstances that impede airflow and therefore oxidation of the blood, aka your “their stuffed nose exhausted them” theory.
In other words, stop talking about things you know nothing about.
The OP suggested in their original statement that they were exhausted because they weren’t getting enough sleep. Don’t put words in my mouth because you can’t read.
