I bought some very nice merino wool last year December with the intention to crochet a scarf for the last few months of the winter. Of course I completely overestimated my skill and dedication, but at least it’s ready for this winter :)

This is my first large-ish project and as you can see, it really shows. It’s made from top to bottom(in the picture) and I had a lot of occasional increases to compensate for missing a stitch several rows earlier.
It was a good experience though, performing the same routine over and over again helped with developing my muscle memory. I feel like I now have a much better control over the tension and can produce a more consistent result.

The scarf consists of a moss stitch and was made with a 5.5 mm hook. Oh, and it’s really nice and warm :)

    I still have some wool left, so I might look into making a border, I hadn’t thought of that. It would make for a nice finish, regardless of the amount of errors that might still shine through :)
