Community Update - (07/18/2026)

This community has moved to /c/ca_firearms_rights@lemmy.halstead.host for the foreseeable future.

This community on sh.itjust.works is still maintained by the current moderator however, will no longer be accepting new posts unless they effect the Canadian licensed firearms community as a whole.

Unfortunately i (ohshit604) cannot be the sole poster of this community no longer, hence why i introduced /u/Canadian_Firearms_News_Bot however, the instance admins seem to have not appreciated a bot on their instance and have banned it.

Therefore i did what any selfhoster here would do and spun up a lemmy instance of my own so that licensed firearms owners can still receive news on a federated platform free from big corporations.

Apologies if this is an inconvenience for some.

Thank you.
