      …no? OwnCloud is just file storage and sharing. NextCloud is like a Google Workspace/Teams alternative.

        they are both pretty much the same, support similar plugins etc. and both always were a cloud storage systems

            of course in detail they differ a lot. but both support desktop clients, cloud drive, Web sharing, caldav and carddav plugins etc.
