      No one is really buying the “product”…

      All the new data centers are for AI, so that in case anyone ever discovers how to actually make a profit off AI, the established tech companies will control the infrastructure and keep their place.

      Like, there’s nothing to “not buy” because these companies aren’t even selling anything yet.

      They’re burning the planet down to build this up as a lottery ticket.

      Significant and immediate damage to the planet we all share because they might make money, and if they don’t the companies go bankrupt and they don’t pay tax.

      There’s no way for them to lose money, so they’re going to take the risk.

      Your advice might have worked 30 years ago, but even back then it wasn’t as easy as you think it is today.

    Imo, you should sort your recycling. Makes it cheaper.

    That being said, big tech has infinitely more impact on the environment and society at large that it is appalling the government doesn’t put them in their place…
