The ban targets two far-right Israeli ministers in support of the Israeli settlers' movement, the continuation of the war, and the "voluntary emigration" of Palestinians. #EuropeNews

Have they stopped exporting weapons to Israel?

Yes, they said they blocked number of export applications recently.

If I understood you correctly, they blocked some, not all, in which case they’re still exporting material subject to export controls (i.e. military equipment) to Israel.

The Netherlands has tightened restrictions on arms exports to Israel, with new export licenses now considered “virtually impossible” under current circumstances.

            Ah, good news then.

Last I had heard (maybe a month ago), they were still exporting weapons to Israel.

Absolutely not. The UN should step in to stop the killing and the ICJ should try the war criminals in Israel’s government. I misread the headline. I’ll amend my post.

I’m not sure what I thought it said exactly, but I took it to mean the opposite of what was written. Dunno how that happened other than me being careless. I’m wfh and cruising Lemmy on the side during slow bits, so I might have had my attention divided; but that’s not an excuse to say the wrong thing on a topic that’s this important.

No worries, it happens. Funilly enough happened to me just very recently with the article about Spanish Airlines.
