David Prine, 51, spoke exclusively with Newsweek about Yenifer Correa Ganan’s situation. The 35-year-old entered the U.S. legally under the CBP One parole program in January 2024, fleeing violence in Colombia with her daughter Ana Maria, according to Prine.

“I supported President Trump in 2016, 2020 and 2024. I donated almost all my net income in 2015 to his campaign, earning an inaugural invite,” said Prine, a disabled former Marine and a Social Services representative at the Department of Veteran Affairs’ National Call Center for Homeless Veterans.
