Damn you messy. Except the seat, I’ve never understood the seat thing. Why is there a ‘right’ position for it?

Seat down is usually better, mathematically speaking, if you’re in a male-female relationship. Because a man has to sit down sometimes, and a woman has to sit down all of the time.

Seat and lid down is the only sensible choice.

Agreed. Also do this before the flush and it stops fecal and urine particles from being sprayed up into the rest of the bathroom.

It’s like putting the shopping trolley (cart) back after you’re done loading your stuff into the car.

That’s if you have to pick a default. Otherwise, leaving it in whichever position it’s in would be the most efficient.

While does the seat have to be down (and not the lid)?

Are you incapable of lifting/putting it down as needed?

Sitting on the cold cold porcelain is a traumatic experience, and easy to do if you forget your glasses, are half awake, or in a hurry.

How traumatic can it be if you keep repeating it?
