At the risk of looking like the joke went over my head, the joke falls short on two fronts:
- Pho isn’t pronounced like “foe”, more like “fu-“ in “fuck”
- The dish looks like ramen, with yellow noodles and bok choy. Pho has white noodles and is served with slices of meat, “meatballs”, and herbs.
At the end of the day, this is a joke and it really isn’t worth getting too worked up over. I find it funny more so at the ridiculous idea of having a soup compartment on a scooter, than with the pun

My stoner friend used to work at “Pho-20”
San Diego? We have one of those here: Pho King and it is damned good. Probably pretty common though.
We have Pho King Wing and Pho-nomenal here.

I’m guessing the photo and caption were two different people. I noticed the pronunciation thing too, but I still chuckled at the pic.

This is fun too. Okay, so what I noticed is that the chopsticks are oriented for a right hander and the moped is standard with the throttle on the right. As soon as you take a bite you lose complete control of the vehicle! I guess you could eat while stopped, but then you are getting droplets of food on your moped. Not ideal. 🤣
Also, it’s a scooter and not a moped (no pedals)
I’m more upset at #2.
You can clearly see it’s ramen. That’s like calling cheesy macaroni a spaghetti. I’m furious.
8 years ago I passed a restaurant named “Pho Chateau” and I’m still upset about it :D
