He’s never said anything of substance. He can’t possibly debate someone who is all substance.

    He’s afraid.

Honestly, he pulled this shit in the past two elections, and I hope Harris just shows up and answers questions. Free air time.

Hiding in ambiguity, I see. He thinks that by saying maybe he can deflect attacks for not debating Harris. “I never said I wouldn’t debate her.”

    But he won’t debate her.

He’s just saying shit to get free air time, he also needs Harris out of the lime light. He did this for the Republican debates as well

Lol. I don’t think he will. He has nothing to win and everything to lose. Harris will absolutely wipe the floor with Trump on that stage and he knows it.

Maybe is a good strategy to avoid debating with her, avoiding giving her attention could be good for his campaign.

Maybe but at the same time avoiding giving her attention could reinforce the idea of didn’t having enough importance to compete with him.

That’s Trump’s argument (democrats might change their candidate yet again) but with her gaining clear popularity in many swing states, it’s very difficult to make the argument that “she is not important”.

But lets say for argument’s sake that Kamala is so bad and unpopular that he is guaranteed to win the election and debating her is not worth his time, why bother with rallies then?
