…uh, yes, yes they did drone strike people. Pretty sure Clinton was actually the first president to approve the use of a strike. Just because Obama ramped it up a few orders of magnitude does not mean the previous administrations were not doing it as well.

40 million dead civilians. Trump is nowhere near that. Yet.
Bush set the playbook for the United States in the 21st century, everyone else is just following his lead, Trump included.

Ah! Can you take the politics out of Discworld? I don’t think you can. Even this comic is making a subtle argument about what is and isn’t deemed appropriate for children - that you can deny the existence of “things not meant to be safe”, but you are also denying them the important lesson that there are unsafe things in the world.
But I’m also being pedantic. The intent of this space would be better described as Comics Outside (K)urrent Events. We’re here for bumps of COKE

Gizmodo didn’t always look like the penny arcade website, did they?

Ah, well you don’t have to worry about them wasting time on this, because they very definitely do not want to close the door on doing extra-legal imperial management The Right Way when next they hold the presidency.

I mean, sure, an inheritance tax curtails the most egregious aspect of an informal aristocracy. But it’s a pernicious thing. Creeps in. Who your parents know, the school you go to, the district you grew up in, the jobs available after you graduate. I’m pretty damn skeptical of any claim to true meritocracy.
hold on, is this thing in counterstrike?
